A beautiful hand-built white orb vase with hand-painted blue and yellow pattern.
It works great as a decorative item or can carry beautifully a bouquet of smaller flowers/tree branches...
It was made of speckled stoneware clay, handpainted with turquoise and yellow underglazes, and dipped in glossy white upon which it was fired to cone 8 (1250C) in an electric kiln. The base was left unglazed and is impressed with my maker's mark.
